Meet Greg

Greg O’Connor

Greg is a 30 year Noblesville resident with his wife Teena. They have raised two children, Kerry and Evan, in Noblesville who both graduated from Noblesville High School. Greg and Teena met while they were attending Butler University. Greg received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1979 and his MBA in 1983.

Community Leader

Greg is a leader, a listener and community servant. He’s spent the last 10 years serving on the Noblesville City Council. Noblesville’s current strong fiscal position is a reflection of Greg’s collaboration with the city controller to roll out a five-year capital improvement plan.

Serving two terms as Noblesville City Council President, Chair of the Finance Committee, an Economic Development Committee member, and as a part of the Plan Commission, Greg has made a big impact. In the last decade, O’Connor has proved his experience and dedication for economic development, workforce development, streamlining budgeting processes, implementing quality of life initiatives and providing more educational opportunities for the city.

Greg was recently named Duke Energy’s Difference Maker Award winner.

Noblesville City Council Accomplishments:

  • Involved in bringing Ivy Tech to Noblesville.
  • Kept taxes low by finding innovative ways to fund new road and infrastructure projects.
  • Worked with businesses to help bring the 1,618 new and promised jobs to Noblesville. These include: Blue Sky Technology, Borg Warner, Cabela’s, Embassy Suites, Metro Plastics

Business Leader

Greg is a businessman and job creator. His life-long career in commercial banking has allowed him to help businesses grow and create jobs here in Indiana. Greg is Senior Vice President and Director for BMO Harris Bank in Indianapolis.
